Kylo Hen is our head rooster in the flock. He has a great personality, is not aggressive to people and treats his hens with lots of respect, finding little treats for them in the yard and calling them over to eat them. He is constantly scanning the skies looking out for aerial predators. We hope he will help protect the flock during times when hawks are prevalent. Hawks are our worst predator for free range hens! Kylo Hen is a rare chicken breed who has excess black pigmentation in his body. His skin, feathers, eyes, nails and even meat/ muscle is all black!
